Co-Founder's Letter: COVID-19

The world’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic these past weeks has been historic and extremely thought-provoking. There are lots of lessons to be learned from the recent news headlines. For us, the COVID-19 virus has offered a glimpse into how prepared law firms are to sustain themselves in periods of overwhelming uncertainty.

The overnight action companies have taken to decentralize their workforce and protect their employees has brought into sharp relief the importance of having a Cloud-based infrastructure. Prior to the outbreak, the choice between an on-premise or Cloud-based solution was often a matter of preference. Now, the decision is one of security and productivity.

Needless to say; the entire legal industry has been impacted by these events. However, we realize the increased amount of stress this has had on firms who work with on-premise solutions. It is important to us, and the rest of the Soluno team, that we help ease the uncertainty you and your firm are experiencing. Our team offers full client-matter history conversions for free should firms want to switch from their current on-premise legacy software. If you already use Soluno on-premise, we will happily transfer you to our Cloud platform so that you can keep your practice running.

Cloud-based software gives law firms the freedom to be centralized or distributed as required. Firms using the Cloud are proving to be better equipped to handle this unexpected shift in work-style. Law firms on the Cloud can remain secure, productive, and most importantly – healthy.

Please continue to stay safe, and our Soluno Support team will always be here to help.
